Persol Typewriter collection

TYPEWRITER is the name of the 2015 Persol eyewear collection brings  up the memories of a  bygone age of the  1930s newspaperman,  and the great writers of the last century such as  Hemmingway.  Typewriters  have been supersede by new technological  in the shape of the PC and the Pad.  Persol's  collection taps in to the glamour and craftsmanship of this most loved of early 20th century items. The Typewriter Edition proposes 2 sunglasses and 2 optical frames that have been reinterpreted with high quality materials and great craftsmanship.  Elements of typewriters are evident on the metal bridge of the glasses, and on the temple tips where there is a motif that recalls the mechanism of the typewriter.  The name of the collection is engraved on the interior of the temples.
