Opening of the new Fretons Store in Amsterdam
On Friday, March 1st, Fred de la Bretonière Fretons opened his first Brand Store. In the shop, the Fretons SS13 collection sold specifically for this shop was expanded with a series of brand store only variants. The Fretons Brand Store is located at the Jacob Obrechtstraat 14 in Amsterdam.
Fretons are clearly identified by a red lace eyelet at the top of the inside of the shoe. A tongue label Fretons artwork, red stitching and a rear band of Vachetta leather with Fretons. In addition, each pair includes a hangtag with a numbered authenticity seal. The red bob is linked to an action that allows consumers the chance to win one of 18 red Fretons bicycles.

The newest sublabel Fretons Fred de la Bretonière stands for sneakers that casual, sporty and urban sometimes with a raw edge or a playful detail. Fretons is about enjoying the good life and goes into the second season with new models, variations on the first collection, new colors and more outlets.
RAW EDGE
The Fretons look has a very personal style, but retains something familiar from Fred. The leathers used are often natural harness leathers and soft suedes where Fred has a passion for. The use of color, the styling of the ways in which materials are processed and merged Fretons give a unique character. Pure, young and very comfortable.
The SS13 collection consists of sneakers with cushioned shaft, padded leather and 'raw edge' unlined models. We also see combinations with python print leather and models made of hand-woven mesh, perforated sneakers and high boat shoe-like models with a shaft that can be worn well wide. They come with leather laces and fabrics so you can give them different looks. The colors for this season include yellow, gray, faded green and brown.
