JANTAMINIAU : ROBOTIC NATURE COLLECTION
JANTAMINIAU showed in the Spanish capital his new couture collection 'Robatic Nature "to an international group of private customers. On the catwalk was a wooded passage built amidst a room full of classic contemporary art. A lovely setting for a unique and intimate show. The models kept turnout numbers fixed while the clothes they wore Jan, echoing his previous shows, was personally commented.
Jan says the following about his show:
I find it very nice to now have exhibited in Madrid. It's great for my clothes to show each time in new places, where my rising new clients / are located.
The basis of this collection is presented in Madrid. I came riding through a green oasis. At the end of the passage was a large square styled villa. Painted in two shades of green with white lines. I was attracted by the alienation. It hit me that this colossus lived harmony with nature. When I entered the house I was again surprised by a world full of art from the 16th and 17th centuries on the wall.
After that my imagination is running wild beaten. The house was a powerful individual, a robot was sleeping. A robot opened his hidden heart for me, who had understood the past, but was not afraid to embrace the future.
In my collection you can see this in the Graphical forms versus organic forms; The matte vs. glossy; the softer / soft shoulders; Portability vs. extreme attention to detail.
In all my collections is all about celebrating individuality, the daring celebration of contrasts, the fact that not everything is what it seems at first glance. Hence me so much in making Couture.
