Open Blue Cobia
Open Blue Cobia is a species of Ocean born fish, currently being farmed by the Open Blue fish farming company.
The company is based in Panama and Open Blue control the whole cycle from egg to fully grown fish. They also do all the processing of the fish, before it is sent all over the world.
So to promote their product in The Netherlands, a select group of food writers and journalist were invited to one of The Netherlands top Chef's schools to view the fish and to taste it for themselves.
The fish was prepared by the cream of young up and come Dutch Chefs. The plan is to show what a versatile product it is and to position the product as one of high value for fine dinning.
Also on hand were representative from some of Amsterdam's top hotel restaurants.
