Dutch Fashion designer Jan Taminiau wins 50,000 euros
from the
Prince Bernhard Culture Fund
in Amsterdam
JANTAMINIAU is one of the most famous fashion labels in the Netherlands and favorite designer of Lady Ga Ga. Has won 50,000 euros from an Amsterdam based Cultural Foundation.
Taminiau has been described as the only true couture designer in the The Netherlands. And is long with Victor& Rolf he is one of the true darlings of Dutch Fashion.
Jan, said he will use the prize to develop his design story in to other areas such as interior and product design opportunities.
The Cultural Foundation is an annual sum of 50,000 euros available to develop, artistic and business in talented fashion. It is aimed at designers who have already been released a commercial collection.
The cash injection is made possible by an anonymous patron.
