Boomsma Distillery Launches Dry Gin: "Everything adds up to this drink"

Amsterdam, Friday, July 1st, 2016 - The Blue Spoon Bar Andaz Amsterdam hotel Boomsma Distillery launched yesterday its latest spirit: Boomsma Dry Gin. The Gin is dressed in a stylish, hip flask. Relations, journalists and mixologisten could taste immediately that these are not just 'another gin', but to a particular product based on 12 spices of very high quality. Presenter Tim Douwsma, the specially designed cocktails and the show on the theme of "The Scent of a Spirit" gave the launch the deserved glamor, without prejudice to Boomsma message: authentic, no hyped stories, a nod to the past and a fresh look at the future.
Modesty adorns the family business, but this launch is the place for pride; on everything from the Dry Gin is reflected in every detail. The square bottle with the distinctive logo is a nod to the 20s and 30s and symbolizes the rich history of the company, while the design is not out of place in the most fashionable bars of the moment. Nevertheless, taste for Saskia and Chan Toine Boomsma, 5th generation at the helm of the family business in the first place, especially in an era when ginkaart in bars sometimes greater than the wine list. In Boomsma Dry Gin be as many as 12 herbs processes which occur in their traditional bitters, including: angelica, gentian, blessed thistle, licorice, centaury and laurel. This results in an aromatic gin which mainly are good smell of citrus and juniper. The taste is full, rich and soft with a long, spicy finish.
A special product requires a special launch, and this was moved to the Blue Spoon Bar Andaz Hotel. The theme of the evening was "The Scent of a Spirit", to make everyone aware of the role of the nose in the perception of a drink, especially if it is as aromatic as the Dry Gin Boomsma. Actor and presenter Tim Douwsma born Fries, served as host and revealed along with Saskia and Chan Toine Boomsma beautiful bottle. Boomsma Distillery
Boomsma Distillery was founded in 1883 in Leeuwarden, so about 130 years ago appeared the first bottle Boomsma "Old Frisian" Beerenburger on the table. This typical herbal liqueur quickly became appreciated widely. Today Boomsma brings a wide range of domestic and foreign drinks, including Glen Talloch Whisky, Vodka and Esbjærg Old Captain Rum.
